The geophysical survey was carried out during 2021 field season at selected prehistoric settlements in the area of the Xanthe Prefecture: Lafrouda and Diomideia and in the area of Rhodope Prefecture: Paradimi, Yfantai, Fanari, Papa Ambelia (Krovili), Voidolivado (Nea Santa), and Mylon Mana (Maroneia). The geophysical survey was conducted using a cart-based magnetic multi-sensor system and a Ground Penetrating Radar (250MHz antenna). The data collected are under further processing by the Laboratory of Geophysical - Satellite Remote Sensing and Archaeo-Environment of the Institute for Mediterranean Studies - FORTH.
