Radiocarbon dating will be carried out on the organic samples containing carbon from plant or animal origin, which will be extracted from the borehole's cores at each investigated archaeological site. The radiocarbon dates produced will be treated statistically using Bayesian analysis according to depth, stratigraphy, location and cultural phase in order to increase the accuracy and determine the rate of accumulation of various archaeological or depositional horizons and the duration of each cultural phase. In addition, sychronisations of horizons between different cores and different sites will be attempted using the statistical analyses of the depositional profiles.
